You used to work at Space as a barman and have been a long term We Love Space resident, how has the club changed?

All the clubs have built on to their original structures in the last 12 years and the technology inside is all you would expect from a world class club. Back then we were a tight knit crew of 20 bar staff who knew the and looked after the barstaff of all the other clubs and were treated likewise wherever we went, it was very special. Nowadays of the 250 or so employees in Space some 70 are bar staff so I doubt that the vibe is the same. But saying that I think even today to work in these places is a great buzz even though it's bloody hard work.

You have lived on the island for 4 years now, what 3 things should an Ibiza first timer do?

Try and check out every possible corner of the island to get know all of it's aspects. Be adventurous. Be bothered!

You are now running Botique Hostal Salinas, what can someone expect from a stay at your place?

A relaxing stay in a family-run place out of town and a stone's throw from the beach. Pure nature 10 minutes from town. A good insight in to how Ibiza really is in 2010 and an inside track on getting into places and getting things done. Last but not least, a right laugh.

You must be busy , where do you go in Ibiza for downtime?

I have an array of favourite spots for getting away from it all; Punta Galera, Cap d'es Lleó, the coastal walk between Salinas and Cap d'es Falcó, Formentera of course.....but in summer now I need to be a bit more available so my Zen moments in summer are spent chilling in my apartment near Talamanca, checking out new music and watching a movie, or grabbing a siesta on the beach.
