More on Ibiza Opening Parties 2010

So it’s March now and we can well and truly say that Ibiza is only a stones throw away. Once the Miami Winter Music Conference and Timewarp is done, our main purpose in life is Ibiza…  So what do we know about this years season since we last spoke? For all the hot news off the press see below…

Space, otherwise known as the un-official opening signal for the Ibiza clubbing season, has released details of their MEGA opening party named ‘The Invasion Weekend’, which looks set to be amazing and run from Saturday through to the early hours of Monday morning – surely that’s a goal for Space against the Ibiza bureaucrats. More news on Space to follow so watch this, erm… space.

Monza has announced that it won’t be at Privilege, which is a massive blow to the Ibiza superclub, but chins are wagging about where it’s off to next. Will they move to super club Space to fill one of their vacant nights (Be has moved from Thursday, surely this would make the perfect spot?) or will they move to somewhere a little more intimate, making their superbranded Italian night for the clubbing elite. They’re back to their winter sessions homebase Blu in Figuretas from the 1st of April, but will they stay there? We don’t know but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.

It’s always nice to know that in these worrying times there is at least one night you can rely on – good old faithful Cream. The bigwigs at Cream headquarters have confirmed that they’ll be running from Thursday 17th June to Thursday 30th September and sticking to their usual Thursday nights at Amnesia. Well, If it aint broke don’t fix it right?

Amnesia is still yet to confirm it's opening party, but our bets are for June 6th, to give the super club at least a week to recover before crazy mentalists Cocoon take over for their opening on the 14th (details tbc)

Everyone's favourite free Tuesday party FUSE at Delano has been running strong in London through the winter months on a Sunday at 93 Feet East Brick Lane and is almost certain for an Ibiza revival for 2010. BUT with the shock news that Delano will be NO MORE for 2010, (another victim of the greedy Ibiza officionados?) questions are where will it be? You'll be the first to know here!

There’s still the odd ends that we’re waiting on confirmations for… after all, we do like to be kept in suspense and it does make the anticipation even higher. Keep checking back for the news as we have it
