More on Ibiza Parties for 2010
More and more info is being released, it's set to be a good one girls and boys...

With less than 2 months to go until the 2010 opening parties kick off, the rumour mills are in overdrive with party shifts and changes being released almost every day.
Along with the islands beauty, music is Ibiza’s main selling point and so it’s good to see that the clubbing big-wigs aren’t afraid to shake things up. After all, with clubbers continuing to seek out new places to party and DJs making appeareances all over Europe throughout the summer months, Ibiza needs to keep things fresh to remain recession-proof and keep pulling in the crowds.
So as more details on parties for 2010 are released, find further details for 2010 parties here:

AMNESIA
Cocoon // A musical genius in his own right, Sven Vath and his team are excellent as teasing their fans before thy release full details of their seasons parties. One thing they have released is their theme for their 2010 season: ‘Party Animals’. Keep up to date on all their releases as they happen, here: www.partyanimals2010.net
SPACE
Space has had quite a few shake-ups this year switching days around, introducing new parties and getting rid of some altogether.
KehaKuma // This is one of the newest additions to the Space line-up for a Wednesday evening, and has been described by space as a ‘night dedicated to the true spirit of our culture, a tribute to the originators and innovators, the men and women who continue to drive our way of life forward’. Touching stuff. KehaKuma is promising BIG things with a continuously strong techno and house line-up throughout the summer. Their opening party on June 2nd had headliners including Francois K, Steve Bug, M.A.N.D.Y. and more.
Come Together // Another new addition to Space’s weekly lineup on a Thursday night (Be @ Space has been moved to Friday’s), Come Together is a concept idea, where they plan to bridge the gap between all genre’s of music and push the boundaries of what has become the norm to bring everybody from all corners of the globe together. Expect a mish mash of electro, techno, indie, house, rock, bass, bleeps, beats and breaks with full DJ lineups still to be announced.
PACHA
Cadenza // This has been the story that has rocked Ibiza clubland, the legend that is Luciano has announced that he’ll be hosting a new residency all summer at… PACHA. Starting on June 6th, this residency was not an obvious choice by any means but we do think it’s a brave one and a clear signifier that Pacha means business for 2010. In recent years, Pacha has been type-cast as a place purely for cheesey pop-house nights, but with the announcement that they’ll have Luciano at their helm every Sunday night AND the fact that they have big names such as Gui Boratto and M.A.N.D.Y. playing at their opening party, this is all set to chage this year. This is a brave move for Luciano and we really hope it works.
ES PARADIS
Hed Kandi // The world-famous superbrand have confirmed that they will indeed be going back to their decadent Ibizian roots after only 1 year at Space. Opening at Es Paradis on 12th June, Hed Kandi are said to be very excited to be launching there this summer and are sure to put on one hell of a party.
Ibiza Rocks After Show // The Ibiza Rocks Afterparty has moved to Es Paradis for 2010, after Reclaim the Dancefloor’s monumental success in 2009 has lead them to break away on their own. Everyone who goes to the Ibiza Rocks Hotel gig gets free entry to the aftershow at Es Paradis. If last years aftershows were anything to go by, then expect big lineups and one hell of a party.
On another note…
Swanky’s // One of the most intimate, hottest parties in Ibiza last year and also BoHo’s most popular night by far, Swanky’s will not be returning to Ibiza this year. This will be a shock to many due to it’s massive success last year and the fact that it reportedly had offers to run parties at several of Ibiza’s biggest clubs. The Dynamite Hosts, who ran Swanky’s, are reportedly planning some new and exciting things and will be concentrating their energies their new plans. True to form, Swanky’s will still be continuing their parties in the UK, so if you’re worried about missing them in Ibiza this year, keep your eye’s peeled here for further details on how to get your Swanky’s fix.
Monza released a note on their website saying that they had 100% confirmed their new home for 2010 a few weeks ago, yet all details are still to be released to the public so expect the news to come very soon! The Face of Ibiza has moved from Privilege’s Saturday spot to the Thursday void left by Monza’s departure.
