Well, what can we say, the opening parties are getting more and more exciting by the day!
Now we’ve spent the past week schmoozing around Ibiza with one ear to the ground to bring you all the hot gossip straight form the beautiful white isle of Ibiza and boy have we got some hot gossip for you!
*** First things first, we’ve got an absolutely red-hot EXCLUSIVE for you: we’ve heard that the infamous Italian party Monza will be moving to Cova Santa (‘The Holy Cave’), off Sant Josep road. Not heard of it, then you should be ashamed. This beautiful place has a really unique intimate environment and we’re positive that Monza will really put this place on the map. *** Another hot bit of gossip is that Back to Basics will be hosting a night at Blu Club from June 4th every other Friday. Definitely not one to be missed.
*** Our old DC10 favourite Superfreq, which resided at BoHo last year is said to be still negotiating a venue. Fingers crossed for a full summer of an open DC10 and maybe, just maybe, they’ll be able to return to their rightful home.
*** We also heard that house legend Roger Sanchez will be returning to Amnesia. More on that when we hear it.
One last little titbit that’s worth sharing, and also worth keeping under your hat, is that it’ll be worth checking out Botique Hostal Salinas on Friday afternoons, where Ibiza Sonica will be setting up shop. We’ve been told to expect special surprise guests, and with the likes of Ewan Pearson and 2020 SoundSystem playing last year, we doubt they’ll fail to deliver once more.
