Swanky's Ibiza is No More

SWANKYS 2010...

So, after a roaringly successful season in Ibiza last year, everyone was shocked to hear that Swankys, which has become a party legendary for it’s headonism and abundance of beautiful people, will NOT be returning to Ibiza for 2010.

Anthony Lowther of Dynamite hosts said that whilst they had offers from some of Ibiza’s biggest clubs, they’re concentrating on bigger things for 2010 and beyond. Speaking exclusively to IbizaCalling.com, Anthony said  “after long, long, long deliberation have opted not to take our hedonistic shindig to Ibiza this summer. We always like to go against the grain and keep people guessing, keep it fresh and exciting. This along with the fact we have some very exciting ventures, opportunities and potential partnerships in the UK that we must take advantage of now.”

For the hoards of Swankys fans still in the UK though, all is not lost. Swankys will still be going strong as ever this year and will be starting their parties for this year down in the capital for a storming month of May where they’ll be hosting a massive THREE events in one month at different venues across London: This is called SWANKYS.05.10

PARTY 1: SWANKYS bank holiday May 2nd

Theme: "as seen on screen" - movies stars, characters, tv shows, computer games etc.

Venue: Supperclub (http://www.supperclub.com)

PARTY 2: SWANKYS May 16th.

Theme: "the black party"

Venue: Merah (http://www.merahclub.com)

PARTY 3: SWANKYS bank holiday May 30th:

Theme: "the eyes wide shut masquerade ball"

Venue: TBC

So, after this will you all be Swanky’d out? Absolutely not! Expect to see a whole flurry of Swankys parties popping up along with some other exciting spin-offs including a Swankys clothing range.

Their UK tour is in the planning as we go to press, with parties planned in places including Brighton, London, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle and Scotland... this is definitely not the last thing you’ll hear from the Swankys crew. Failing that, they may not be hosting their weekly shindig in Ibiza any more but watch out for the Dynamite Hosts who we've been told will be partying on the Isle throughout the summer.

So it's a sad bye bye 'Swankys Ibiza' for now, but this is not the last we've heard from them...
