Time Warp is taking you into the new decade.

Richie Hawtin presents Plastikman Live in a World Premiere.

Time Warp continues: after massive celebrations for the 15th anniversary in 2009, Time Warp 2010 marks one of the first highlights in the festival calendar of the new decade. Quite naturally, Time Warp will stay true to itself in the 2010s – ever breaking new ground, pushing technological frontiers and still delivering a party as intimate
and intensive as possible.

The artist bill for Time Warp Mannheim is of course going to maintain the same high quality standard that is expected of it. Especially the world premiere of Plastikman, Richie Hawtin’s legendary production alter ego, is being eagerly awaited. At Time Warp, he will present his new Plastikman multimedia performance for the first time, before heading out on a world tour to grace selected festivals.

Time Warp cornerstones like Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier or Ricardo Villalobos are, of course, also on board. New to the Mannheim is Dubfire, one half of the Grammy-winning duo Deep Dish, who played some extraordinary sets together with Richie Hawtin in the summer of 2009. Martin Buttrich will be officially kicking off his new album “Crash Test” in cooperation with Time Warp.

At the same time, the Jetztmusikfestival is ramping up. The artist collective “a critical mass” consisting of Henrik Schwarz, Âme and Dixon will continue the highly acclaimed Cinemix series, performing a live soundtrack for the mute film classic, “The

Dominik Eulberg will also be making a contribution to the festival week with a musical journey through nature at the Mannheim Planetarium. Musician Stefan Goldman and the band Elektro Guzzi will team up with the Kevin O’Day Ballett in the Mannheim Opera House.

The opening of the festival week on the 20th of March will be rocked by the new indie event, Stereo Mondo.
