July 10th 2010 will see Sven Väth and a handpicked selection of his house and techno cohorts take over the rolling grounds of Temple Newsam - a 450 year old mansion house on the outskirts of Leeds - for an open air and bespoke one-day festival.

Nestled amongst the trees at the bottom of the house’s garden will be one festival stage, a Funktion One sound system, thousands of like-minded people and electronic mainstays Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice and Adam Shelton, as well as the Cocoon boss Sven Väth.

As well as the world class soundtrack, there will also be the added excitement of Cocoon’s trademark, out-of-this-world production including a pyrotechnics show, a selection of colourfully costumed Cocoon dancers all the way from Frankfurt,  big screens with live VJs, and an eye boggling light show.

Last year’s event proved to be the boutique festival of the year and with this year’s line-up as good as it is, Cocoon in the Park 2010 once again provides a genuine alternative to Ibiza for those either strapped for cash or fearful of more volcanic interruptions. Whatever your reason, this festival demands your attention!
