Where to stay - Hotel Bahia

By Gemma on Tue, 2 June 2009 at 08:49:58 PM

If your going to Ibiza in a group, and you want to party but also don't want to stay in a dive, i'd definitely recommend the Bahia. It gets a bad rap because it's in San An, but it's round the other side of the bay so you're away from the west end and it has DJs and music round the pool- i think it has some affiliation with a club, maybe eden? We party in Ibiza town but stay at the Bahia every year. It's purely young party goers in the summer though, wouldn't recommend anyone under 18 to stay there. We've stayed at other hotels across the island but they lacked the fun party atmosphere that the Bahia had. Great view from out Balcony too!

Fiesta Club Hotel

By Sam Coombes on Thu, 25 June 2009 at 11:19:16 AM

This hotel is on the beachfront of Playa den Bossa, its about 4km from the centre of Ibiza town and theres a nearby shopping centre and aquatic park. It had great rates but I would like to try a villa next time as I have kids and think they would prefer that. any thoughts?

I stayed in a rented villa with some mates and its far better than a hotel where people are "shushing" you!!
I staying in Ibiza town which was a little expensive but its worth it as you really feel on holiday.

Ibiza Gran Hotel

I booked a Junior Suite, it was about 250 euro per night sleeping 3 people and included breakfast... I think you feel safer in a hotel?
Beautiful views over the marina. would go again. I haven't tried a villa yet.

The El Corso Hotel

its 200 metres away from the beautiful Talamanca Beach, in front of Ibizas harbour. Great views across the harbour to the Old Town and its castle.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the centre of Ibiza Town.

Overall a very good hotel which I'd definitely recommend

Ibiza Villas

I rented a villa last year, it was great value. Waited until the last minute to see what villas were available and did a deal for 4 nights over one of the closing weekends. Worked out at 15 quid each a night for 8 of us. Well worth looking into.
