Ibiza's bus services are a cheap way to explore the island if you are travelling light. There is an excellent network of buses and plenty of taxis to get you around the island.
Buses:
The Ibiza Airport buses are air conditioned and specifically designed to give you plenty of luggage space.
The Ibiza Airport bus service (line 10) departs every half hour from 06.50 to 23.50 from a stop immediately outside the terminal building. The journey to the terminus on Avenida Isidoro Macabich takes 20-30 minutes and is around 8kms. The bus stops at Rotonda Figueretes-Rotonda Puerto-Station Marítima Formentera-Bartomeu de Rosselló-Bus station (Avda. Isidoro Macabich)-C/ País Valencià-Cases Barates-C'an Cifre-Cruce P. Bossa-Sant Jordi-C'an Fornis-S'Olivera-Avidesa-Ponderosa-Airport.
Es Canar-Airport (Line 24) - Hotel Cala Nova-Hotel Miami-Es Canar-Hotel Atlántico-Hotel Ereso-Club Punta Arabi-Cala Martina-Club Cala Pada-Restaurante Es Faralló-Santa Eulalia-Can Marça-Can Creu-Ca Na Negreta-Airport. Departure times from the airport: 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00.
San Antonio-Airport (Line 9) - San Antonio-Hotel Palmira-Hotel Arenal-Hotel Puchet-Hotel S'Anfora-bar Boulevard-Can Cala-San Agustín-Can Verger-San José-Can Pex Xica- Can Fornis-Can Puvill-Cova Santa-Airport. Departure times from the airport: 08:00, 10:00, 12:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00
Our advice for the Ibiza Airport bus is that if you are in a rush do not rely on it! If you need to be somewhere at a certain time take an airport taxi or better still, organise your own private Ibiza Airport Transfers.
From Ibiza Town you can catch connecting buses to San Antonio, Sant Rafael, St Jordi, Salinas, Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga and Santa Agnes. There is a bus running every 30mins connecting each major resort, and many of the beaches. During the summer buses run from around 07:00-22:00.
There is a "disco bus" service running from 00:00 to 06:00 to and from the major clubbing resorts. Six linked routes allowing changes of buses without long waits. A Single fare is €2.10.
