1 Cocoon @ Amnesia...Now more than 10 years on and still going strong, Sven Vath’s Cocoon night has gone from strength to strength. Playing host to the hottest techno DJs on the planet with residents such as Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice and Lucaino. Monday nights have never been so good. Also prone to a damn good after-party, keep your ear to the ground for the occasional special beach party.

2 Circo Loco @ DC10...The king of hedonmism! While most people are struggling through their Monday afternoons at work, after a club fuelled weekend, Circo Loco at Dc10 is going crazy to the sounds of the hottest up and coming house and techno talent. Born in Italy, Circo Loco has become an Ibiza institution. After surviving a year of impromptu by the Local Authorities followed by a whole season of closure in 2009, the party is well and truly rolling in 2010! Party runs from 4:30-2am Mondays. Not for the faint hearted!.

3 Luciano and friends free parties...Starting life at Ushuaia (before moving on due to potential issues with Pacha and the authorities) Luciano has continued the free party spirit with some top class parties at Novum and El Corso Hotel. Keep your ear to the ground (Facebook) and you will soon find yourself a not-to-be-missed free party to attend. 4 Boat Parties...Boat parties have become ever popular in Ibiza with four or five a day heading out of either San Antonio or Ibiza Town. Whilst many of the boat parties are run by the larger club promoters cashing in on their brands, there are a few smaller promoters putting on more exclusive parties. Buoyancy is a intimate affair on a beautiful 75 ft catamaran. Labelled ‘silliness at sea!’, expect fancy dress, inflatables and some damn good music spanning disco, house and techno. 5 Beach Parties...We haven’t named any specific venue here as there are a number of great party venues for you to check out. See our listing section to keep up to date with the hottest parties going on in any given week throughout the summer. The places to look out for include Ushuaia, Sands, Bora Bora, Estanyol beach and Blue Marlin. Why? Because they are free.…they have great DJs playing and they are on the beach! It’s a welcome escape from the overpriced superclubs!

6 Carl Cox @ Space... One of the world’s longest serving superstar DJs has been rocking Ibiza for over 20 years now. For the last 7 years Carl Cox has been putting on his own night at his favourite nightclub Space. For 12 weeks every summer Cox and his management put together an eclectic mix of artists from all genres, attracting a truly international crowd. The mix of artists and clubbers alike work in tandem to create a fantastic clubbing experience.

7 We Love Sundays @ Space... Designed to be a festival of music across six rooms, We Love has long been the biggest party on the island incorporating a wide range of music from funk and soul to house and techno. Starting at 4:30 in the afternoon and running right through until 6am the following morning. Expect an international crowd of ‘up for it’ clubbers who know what they want. The legendary terrace is arguably the best club room to dance in the world.

8 Zoo Project @ Gala Night...Running since 2007, the Zoo Project is held at Gala Night, an abandoned zoo near San Antonio. Run by an international collective, the party remains ever popular with workers due to its reasonable entry price of 25 Euros. Expect face paint, jungle wear and lots of messy people getting down to bumping house and techno. The party runs every Saturday from 4pm-midnight with an after party at Privilege. 9 Live Music @ Ibiza Rocks...The brainchild of Manumission promoter Andy Mckay, Ibiza Rocks now own two hotels (Ibiza and Mallorca) and a live music bar in San Antonio, formerly Bar M. You can expect many of the leading names in pop and dance performing throughout the summer months. 2010 has the likes of Dizzie Rascal, Calvin Harris and The Prodigy to name but a few.

10 After parties...Whether they are on the beach or at a villa, after parties are the place where everyone wants to be in Ibiza. If you are lucky enough to talk your way into one of the leading promoter parties, you can be sure to be surrounded by the who’s who of the dance music world.
